Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 1600C And 1600CM Printers

New. For high-speed printing, book a flight aboard the HP DeskJet 1600C and 1600CM. Improvements in speed and print quality make these the first inkjet printers that do black and color printing for workgroups of one to 10 users, according to HP. They produce up to 9 ppm for black text and up to 4 ppm for color. Both are equipped with a high-speed, HP Bi-Tronics parallel interface for bidirectional communications and data transfer rates of up to 200 KB per second. The black ink cartridge and its integrated print head enhance print quality with a 600x600 dpi solution. Output quality is further heightened by HP ColorSmart software that adjusts the output in documents to provide best possible coloring. The DeskJet 1600CM includes a JetDirect print server card for Ethernet and LocalTalk networks. Its Ethernet connection fosters automatic switching between IBM and Macintosh networks.

Improved. In the vast world of networking, you'll find home sweet ATM home at 36150 MainStreet. Release 3 of Newbridge Networks' ATMnet Access Switch focuses on both video and LAN interconnection capabilities. The switch now comes with more than 15 interface cards, including four-port Ethernet, three-port Token-Ring, FDDI and T-1/E-1 Circuit Emul ation, among other types. These cards can be arranged in any combination in Universal Card Slots (UCS), and are available in up to 16-port configurations for added flexibility. An improved JPEG card contains a programmable quality factor and a user-selectable option for frame or field discard, both of which contribute to high-quality video, according to Newbridge.

HelpPlus continuously monitors client workstations for General Protection Faults (GPF) and upon identifying them, automatically produces a trouble-ticket that outlines system configuration information. HelpPlus then transfers this info into either an ODBC-compliant database or an e-mail message for your administrator.
