RFP: Detailed Solutns for WAN Tehnology

In LCI International's Words
Solution Summary:
We strongly believe that LCI is the premier partnering opportunity for a company of Consolidated Amalgamated's stature because of our guarantee to provide the absolute best quality of service.

LCI is aggressive on analysis of price-to-performance comparison. We typically are the overall low-cost provider. Our new frame relay service-level guarantees provide a level of comfort to our customers that is unmatched in the industry. We have built our company on managing growth; our average annual growth rate has been greater than 45 percent during the past five years.

LCI's ability to deliver one contract, one point of contact and one bill that discounts on all usage will enable CAI to take advantage of cost savings that cannot be realized with other carriers.

LCI will guarantee that CAI's cost per minute, frame ch arges, private line, Internet charges and local loop charges will not go up over the length of the term. Our customers are aware that the alternatives to the larger three carriers are sound, and LCI is large enough to put together programs and relationships that our smaller competitors cannot.

LCI will deliver what is promised, or we will pay to switch CAI back to its current carrier, up to $2,400 per T1 and $10 per line. LCI will credit the customer $1,000 per install date that is missed. LCI will credit the customer $1,000 for outages that last longer than four hours. LCI will credit the customer for its toll-free usage in any month that we fail to reroute an 800 number because of a customer problem within 15 minutes.

LCI feels that with its proposed wide area networking solution, we can offer CAI proven technology that delivers the toll-quality ser vices for the entire enterprise. Our solution has the scalability to incorporate newer technologies, such as voice over IP, once those technologies impr ove to a point where they can offer the same level of quality as our current solution in a nonproprietary format.

LCI's approach is comprehensive and afforadable. It address all of the top requirements laid out in CAI's RFP.
